The Redmond Company has just updated its latest mobile operating system Windows Phone 8.1 and it brings a good news for Windows mobile users. And the good news is that now you can share the internet via Bluetooth, for that you must have the updated version of Windows Phone 8.1 on your mobile device.
The ability to share your mobile internet connection through Wi-Fi to other devices is not new to Windows Phone 8; it is something that is possible from Windows Phone 7.5. But in this version of Windows Phone 8.1 Update has been endowed with some additional functionality. And thanks to the standard support PAN (Personal Area Network), now you can share the Internet via Bluetooth with Windows Phone 8.1 Update.So, until now, you could only share the mobile internet connection via Wi-Fi. A function covering a wide range of devices, since today, any computer or tablet has Wi-Fi at high speeds. That way, we could turn our phone into a Wi-Fi router and have had coverage where Internet. But now, in addition to using Wi-Fi, you can use Bluetooth as a method to share the mobile connection. Many would say that is not a very important development, but sure many owners of GPS and even some car models are going to be welcomed. And this type of equipment often uses a Bluetooth connection to connect to internet and update data such as traffic conditions.
Now the question is that how you can share mobile internet connection via Bluetooth? And the answer is, quite simple, as usual with Windows Phone. What has been done is add to the display settings that you already had. So if you go to settings and then shared connection you can see a new option to choose whether to use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It's that simple.
Also, you can make a possibility that if you set the Wi-Fi connection, but connect a Bluetooth device to request this shared connection, the setting will change automatically and the connected device will get the Internet access.
All these improvements mean that Windows Phone has greater compatibility with any device and can be used on all occasions.
