Learn how to transfer contacts from your Android or iPhone device to Nokia Lumia Windows Phone device.
If you are migrating from an iPhone or Android to a colorful Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 8 and want to transfer all the contacts from your old device, you can do it easily without entering all your contacts manually or without any hassle using Bluetooth. Nokia provides a tool for its Lumia line with Windows Phone OS which allows you to transfer your contacts to your new Nokia phone from your old Android or iPhone very easily.Note: This tutorial is only applicable to the Nokia Lumia line. It cannot be applied to Samsung or HTC phones.

Transfers contact to Nokia Lumia phone from Android or iPhone.
First you have to install the application Transfer My Data (if not installed yet) from the Nokia Collection section available in the Windows Phone Store. Before entering the application, you just installed, confirm that the Bluetooth is turned on both Nokia Lumia and the iPhone or Android device which has the contacts and paired with each other. Now, go to the My Data Transfer application, it will receive the following message...Press the CONTINUE button to start the transfer process. Make sure your Android or iPhone is in the mode of discovery (Discovery) via a Bluetooth connection. If everything is in order, you will see a new Phonebook request message on your old phone. Tap OK to select. If your Android phone or iPhone start out confirmation messages asking if you give permission to Nokia accesses their contact list, messages, etc ... instruct yes to authorize the transfer.
At Nokia, you will see a list of content that has been discovered. Select which you want to transfer and press the START button.
Now, wait for the transfer expires. When it is done, you will see a message like the one below. Just tap the FINISH button to exit.
